Bali is the closest thing to paradise i have ever experienced. You see it blasted all over Instagram and probably have rolled your eyes once or twice when you scroll past yet another photo of the Gili Island beach swings for the millionth time, but it has a certain draw to it.

The 20-something-year-old model posing on an inflatable unicorn in a jungle infinity pool.  I was the type to torture myself by following these girls, thinking “why can’t that be me?” Well first and foremost, i’m not a model, but I also thought there was no way I could afford a place like Bali....
